A Day of Green Dreams Working at Your Local Cannabis Dispensary
Morning Shift – Setting Up for Success
As a budtender at S&H GreenLife, my day begins bright and early at 8 AM. First order of business is carefully checking our inventory and ensuring all products are properly labeled and stored according to New Mexico state regulations.
Daily Tasks Include:
- Sanitizing all surfaces and display cases
- Verifying security systems are functioning
- Organizing product displays
- Checking ID verification equipment
Afternoon Rush
Being the only recreational cannabis dispensary serving communities from Alamogordo to Tularosa, we see quite a diverse customer base. Many visitors from Holloman AFB area (off-duty, of course) and Boles Acres stop by seeking guidance on products that best suit their needs.
Customer Education
One of the most rewarding aspects of my job is educating customers about:
- Different cannabis strains
- Consumption methods
- State regulations
- Responsible use guidelines
Evening Wind Down
As the sun sets over La Luz and High Rolls, we begin our closing procedures. This includes reconciling daily sales, updating our compliance documentation, and preparing for tomorrow’s inventory delivery.
Working in a legal cannabis dispensary requires attention to detail, extensive product knowledge, and a genuine desire to help people. Every day brings new faces and questions, making each shift uniquely rewarding in our growing industry.
Remember: Our primary goal is ensuring safe, legal, and responsible access to cannabis products for our valued customers throughout Otero County.
